Rehearsals
Galakoor rehearses every Thursday evening from 20:00 to 22:00 in the Muziekschool Amsterdam, location Centrum-Oost in Amsterdam. (Nieuwe Kerkstraat 122).
Choir members are expected to have a clear singing voice and good ear, in addition to committing to regular rehearsals. Galakoor strives to attract singers of all ages. We present ourselves as a LGBTI+ queer choir. In other words: everyone is welcome.

Introduction and voice test
If you like the introduction to Galakoor choir, you can sign up for an introduction conversation with the conductor and a member of the board. The conductor will also do some voice exercises. After that, you participate in one project (usually a couple of months). A second conversation follows after that to see if you can join the choir permanently.
